Famous People

I have been learning a lot about golf this week thanks to Marky Mark. Yes, spelled with k's not c's; as in Mark Walburg of Boogie Nights and Funky Bunch fame. He's in Maui for the Mercedes Championship. We got free tickets to the ProAm and had a fabulous day getting tan, enjoying the breath taking views and rubbing elbows with celebrities and golfers. The best part is, we live here! We made all of the crazy golf fans turn away from the green for a moment to take in the view of Molokai and watch the whales.

Tommy Armour III's group won. It was also a fun surprise to see Steve Flesch. He is part of the tour and I used to go on ski trips with him and the Miller clan. So, good luck to Steve this week. I'm sure Lisa and the kids would like a new Mercedes to drive around.

Here are some photos of our celebrity sightings. Mercedes Championships ProAm . And if you don't believe our photos. The tournament is on ESPN during your prime time all week

that view from the top of the 18th is ... um ... splendid. (am i allowed to use that word? splendid?)

i certainly hope you were not mixed up in the "Lahaina marine advocate charged with assault" incident from your local paper.

Hmmm... are you sure it was Dennis Hopper? His hat seems to be conveniently pulled over his face in every photo. How do I know you aren’t pulling my leg and that its actually a photo of another “celebrity,” like one of the Average Joe 2 Hawaii guys?

I saw Dennis Hopper at the Luxor in Vegas once. He was about three and a half feet tall.

Shorter than Anne even!!!

I too am calling shenanigans on the Dennis Hopper photos. Also, how do I know that picture of Tiger Woods isn't like... say... Ray Charles? It could be Jake for all we know.

I have three words for you:
1) Tele
2) Photo
3) Lens
