It snowed in Lahaina
Thanks to the Lahaina Ice Company Maui keiki were able to play in the snow on Saturday. The Lahaina Town Action Committee put on a great event under the Banyan Tree complete with keiki hula, a giant snowman and cookie decorating. The junior high band had to compete with the myna birds that squawk like mad at sunset. That was a loud part of the evening. Kalani, Marc and I took Mihana and Nalu and let them decorate and eat as many cookies as they wanted. Lucky for us their parents arrived just as the sugar buzz set-in.

What a fun family event! Probably the only snow experience some of these kids will ever have.
