Huge Surf

There is a huge Northern Swell that has been visitng us for the last few days. It is massive, I have never seen consistent waves like this before ever.

How big is it?
- so big it has deposited sand all over the lower road
- so big that nobody would even go surf at Honolua Bay yesterday
- so big that barges and cruise ships have been prevented from docking for days in Kahului
- so big that it broke through the seawall across the street from us.
- so big that Jaws is breaking
- so big that up North the ONLY way to surf is to be towed in
- so big that they are towing into S-turns
- so big that 4 professional surfers arrived across the street from our house with a helicopter and towed in behind a helicopter to make a movie yesterday. Marc Anderssen and Laird Hamilton were here among others. This is right across the street from our house!
- so big that Perrin thought she could hear a jet engine outside our house yesterday, it was just the waves.

It is pretty amazing. Perrin and I are going to surf down at Launiopoko today. It was 10ft+ the last two days we'll see what it's like today.

The photos just don't seem so impressive. I decided not to post them, because I thought the stories made it seem more impressive
