Our final trip to the DMV

From the time a car arrives to Hawaii you have just 30 days to get it registered to avoid tickets and fines. This did not seem unreasonable to us at first. Then we began the process. Before you hear the details check out the results: the plates and the licenses

Ha ha ha, i too just dealt with the pain and suffering that is the DMV. I also had to take a test (93%). I endured all the waiting and making sure I "had my papers in order." Damn how much fun can it get? I didn't have the title for my truck, so I was supposed to fill out a packet and mail it to my financial institution, then they were going to mail it back and then the DMV was going to send it one of their pen pals in Canada. Of course the temporary registration only lasts for a few minutes so this is next to impossible. So i just paid for the remainder of my truck and am the proud owner of a title (and 2 years early to boot). Hooray.

I just tried posting a pic of my license ... but that don't not work on here. And no it doesn't have the "happy" rainbow on it... it was indeed a very, very "happy" rainbow. What a suprise.

Anyhoo... thanks for all the updates it's great to hear what's going on!

I've been in California for like two years now and I still haven't bothered to get a new license.

But that's because I'm a rebel. And smart. And handsome.
