Pali
Pali -- pronounced like "Polly"
This means cliffs, On Maui it specifically refers to the portion of the highway between Maalea and Olawalu which follows the cliffs and overlooks the ocean.
Usage: "There is an accident on the Pali, so if you were thinking of heading to the other side, have another drink and chill because you ain't going nowhere"
